Initial Post - 7 Weeks Out

Hey everyone! Since I'll be in a completely different time zone while I'm student teaching abroad, communication may be difficult for me. So I figured I'd create this blog to keep everyone updated on what my life is like in Auckland, New Zealand.

There's still a lot of time before my placement begins at AGE School in Auckland, but it gets closer every day, and I'm very excited to begin my journey abroad! In the coming weeks, I likely will not be very active on here, since the main purpose of the blog is to share how my experience in New Zealand is going. What you can look forward to is a few virtual tours of the area I'll be in, as well as the projects my Bloomington students are working on that I'll share with my students in Auckland!
